Every town has a story — and this one began with a whistle.
For one week, our church transformed into Wonder Junction, a western town filled with laughter, learning, and lives in motion. But this wasn’t just a set and some cowboy hats. Behind the bandanas and backdrops was something deeper: a Gospel-centered journey told through drama, devotion, and delight. We didn’t just play pretend — we invited kids to marvel at Jesus and live for His glory.
The Journey Unfolds
The journey began with bold colors and wide-open skies. This town had a name, a mission, and a destination in mind.
Every train needs a guide. Every journey starts with a choice. In Wonder Junction, Jesus is our Conductor.
Follow the tracks, dodge the cupcake rustlers, and stay on course. This map held more than buildings — it mapped a week of truth.
The Town Comes Alive
Behind every laugh was a line. Every skit began here — with hearts willing to bring a story to life.
From aprons to outlaw mustaches, every costume carried its own kind of message: “You're part of something big.”
The Truth Settles In
Under the brim of a well-worn hat, the story unfolded — not just of towns and trains, but of grace, guidance, and good news.
Sometimes the most important part of VBS isn't what we do — it's what we hear.
In between spoonfuls of pudding and sprinkles of sugar, we fed minds and hearts alike. Truth was served, gently and joyfully.
Quiet Times
Wonder doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it glows the brightest when it's dark all around.
Every town has a story. Every cowboy has a name. This one? He carried the week with quiet strength and a ready smile.

By the end of the week, the town came down. The hats were packed away, the lights unplugged, the decorations rolled up tight. But the stories stuck. The laughter lingered. The Gospel echoed. Wonder Junction isn’t just a place we built; it’s a reminder that in every heart, there's a trail to follow and a Savior ready to lead the way.
